The book Gates of Fire by Steven Presenfield gave me a week of adventure and actionand that is what i think will help me recommend my book to people. I know that i already have Alec hooked because he loves Spartans. The book is action packet because it's a bout the battle of Thermoplyae between the Persians and the "300" Spartans. What makes the book even more interesting is that it is told by the only survivor of the battle. What will i remember about the book in the future? I think that I will remember the Spartans courage and unwillingness to give up and surrender.Knowing that the Spartans never surrendered could be an important factor in reaching goals I've set, never give up, never surrender, "fire in the belly" as my baseball team puts it. I think that Gates of Fire has changed the ways i look at things. The book has taught me to stay mentally and physically tough. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in history and wants to read a book that will change their life.

\nThey should have Definitions on them and bullets that include only key information. Also always include citations because for credit and something to go back to if needed more information.

\nSome of the difficulties I have when taking notes is finding out what to right down. Such as if I don\u2019t understand exactly what the website is saying, it\u2019s hard to break it down into notes. The methods I\u2019ve tried are writing down definitions and main ideas. From doing this I have been successful in taking notes.

\nThe difference in taking notes from a text book and a web page is that it is easier to do it from a text book because it will be on one of the pages and you won\u2019t have to click on different links to find the information you need. I note take by reading over the text, and pulling important information. I then put the information into an organized word document using bullets, headings, and bold\/not-bold lettering.
