Course Description

This one semester course is a continuation of 7th grade ITL with an emphasis on developing advanced research, information problem-solving, and technology skills. Students will learn many of the advanced features of the Microsoft Office 2007 software suite and demonstrate those skills in content-specific projects.


Course Materials

· Resources for this course will be made available through the course website and on the school’s Intranet.
· All computer work must be saved to the network in the shared class folders.
· It is advised that you get an ITL folder for any paper assignments or review materials given in class.

Course Expectations

· Come to class on time and prepared to learn.
· Always look at the SMART Board for the day’s assignment before logging on to your computer.
· Use the class website to give you information on assignments you have missed. It is your responsibility to make this work up by the next class.
